My Grandma and Grandpa Ivie started this tradition where we do backwards presents. They send some money to each grandchild who then picks out their own present, wraps it, and unwraps it at the party for them to see. Corey got his favorite movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Russ and Lezlie-Anne had a little present of their own for Grandma and Grandpa. Newborn diapers......SHE'S PREGNANT! :) Can't wait for another baby in the family! My brothers are growing up so fast.

Unfortunately the stomach flu was going around. Everybody got it. Everybody. It was awful! Especially around Christmas. Nobody wanted to eat any Christmas goodies :(

It was so wonderful so see all of my family. I can't believe how much things change over the course of a year. I am so greatful to have such a close family.

Oh my goodness, Jaxon is so big! Such cute little kids. And that's a fun way to tell people you're pregnant, wrapping up diapers, why didn't I think of that? I like the picture of us. :)
ReplyDeleteholli! i am loving your hair dark! seriously cute. i am so sorry about the stomach flu... mostly because i'm selfish and wanted to see you guys. jk. i'm sorry because being sick stinks, too. :) looks like a fun christmas for you guys. i can't believe you were so close (seriously we live like three minutes from temple square!) and didn't see you! it's just wrong. next time, right?
