Corey and I went to his friend's cousin's ranch this weekend. There was absolutely no water because the well dried up. If we had to use the restroom we had to take a bucket of water from the pool and pour it in the toilet so it would flush. We had a good time though. We swam, ate, and rode the trails over their hundred acres. Did you know you can drive right up next to a cow (i'm talking within inches) and it will still not move out of your way. It will just stand there and stare at you like "What you want?" and continue chewing or sleeping or whatever it was doing before. Before we left for the lake, we gave the cows a little treat.

Cows???? What a TEXAS style adventure... YEEHAW!
ReplyDeleteI remember having to get water from the spring outside and pour it in the toilet to flush it when I'd go with Anne to her cabin in the winter. It was not so much fun.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having A TEXAS SIZE Adventure. I didn't know that cows were so stubborn. It is just like a few kids I know. I am glad you and Corey are having fun. Love ya,

You look SO out of place in your gorgeous black dress feeding a cow. I literally laughed out loud. Out of place yes.. but GORGEOUS. (You. Not the cow. ) LoL
ReplyDeletelol the dress is not that nice. It is actually just a cotton throw for my swim suit. I call it my lake dress. I love Rosss- It is seriously the best store ever!
